Local Authors, Cookies, and Palisade History - December 10, 2011 - from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Palisade Branch Library and the Palisade Historical Society are co-sponsoring a special event during Olde Fashioned Christmas which features local authors and delicious Christmas cookies at the downtown Palisade Branch Library on 3rd street.
Meet and get signed books from local authors, enjoy home-made Christmas cookies, and look at the Palisade Historical Society's "Mobile Musem" display with local photos and interesting information about Palisade. Also browse the Library Auxiliary's Book Sale.
Guided Walking Tours of Downtown Palisade - Saturday, December 10, at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Select from four different routes, depending on the time you want to spend - from 35 minutes to an hour - and the part of downtown Palisade history you're interested in learning about. $5.00 donation requested for each adult. Tours start at 309 South Main Street.
