DESCRIPTION:Rocky Mountain PBS is gearing up for their annual Kids Fun Fest Saturday\, August 2 at Lincoln Park from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Several performers and booth activities will provide a fun\, family-friendly environment for kids to soak up the last pleasures of summer before school begins. Home Loan is the title sponsor this year\, highlighting their Challenger Baseball program\, which gives special needs children the opportunity to play baseball\, make lifetime friends and learn valuable skills in the process. Daniel the Tiger and Cat in the Hat characters\, along with story times provided by Mesa County Library and other performers\, will entertain kids throughout the day. Fun Fest visitors will also have the opportunity to win special prizes donated by local businesses.
